The Apennines are the longest mountain chain in Italy. The northern part that divides Tuscany and Emilia Romagna is called “Appennino Tosco-Emiliano”.
Here it’s possible to enjoy a “human-like” mountain: welcoming and populated since ever. The landscape is a magical mix between wild nature and human works. The memories of the ancestors are everywhere: into their tales, in customs, in traditions and in nature itself.
In winter snow covers summer grazings and thanks to snow excursions it is possible to slowly explore and admire this white paradise.
The Appennino Tosco Emiliano has been elected National Park since 2001 and one of the reserves MaB UNESCO for the biosphere since 2015.
